Makasini is originally from the lovely island of Tonga. She has lived in Aotearoa for the last 23 years with her husband. She has 5 tamariki and 11 mokopuna (grandchildren), and is involved in her local church.
Makasini is a qualified kaiako and holds a First Aid certificate.
She loves how fun it is to work with the tamariki, and treats them as her mokopuna. She is also interested in how they respond and react to her as a kaiako.
Makasini enjoys sharing her knowledge and experience by teaching the tamariki how to behave well, use good manners, be patient at taking turns, to use acceptable language and to have a good attitude.
