Noelene is the Centre Cook at Children First, providing our tamariki with a hot delicious lunch time meal as well as morning and afternoon teas. She is a local of Upper Hutt, having lived here all her life, and has worked in the childcare industry for over 20 years. She has 2 tamariki, 4 mokopuna (grandchildren) and 2 great-mokopuna.
Noelene enjoys cooking for the tamariki, seeing them enjoy their meals and watching their development. She also enjoys the conversations she has when they come and stand at her window and ask “what’s for lunch?” or tell her all about what they are doing.
