Preschool

Our Preschool caters for tamariki 2 – 5 years of age. The kaiako have created an environment in which the tamariki can explore at their own pace and in their own time. This empowers them to be able to set goals or answer questions about the world around them, by exploring learning opportunities that interest them and develop on the knowledge they already hold.

There are outdoor areas for play, a covered deck for rainy days, an art zone for creative exploration, a sleep-room if needed, and quiet spaces for the tamariki to read and unwind. These spaces cater for tamariki different strengths and interests and our kaiako endeavour to provide an environment that promotes thinking, self-regulation, questioning and experimenting. Our curriculum and programme support our tamariki to be prepared and ready for kura (school) when the time comes.

We offer a hot, nutritious lunch every day, as well as morning and afternoon teas.
